Ecklonia Radiata known as Kelp, Common kelp, Golden kelp, Leather kelp or Spiny kelp dependant on where you live. It is utilized in a variety of industries and applications for products such as Cosmetic’s, Skin treatments, Textiles, Baking, Health supplements, Agriculture / Horticulture, Aquaculture, Bio fuels, Additive for Alternative plastic’s, Animal feeds, Thickeners, Flavour enhances and Salt substitute, Plant based protein alternatives and so much more.

Ecklonia draws it’s nutrients directly from the ocean and because it has no root system beach cast seaweeds are still active floating in water and are perfectly suitable for eating as long as you harvest in non polluted waters/ area’s and within a short period of first washing up on the shoreline targeting fresh only and washed thoroughly in small doses regularly for optimum health benefits.
